Robert Scott, a volunteer worker with WAVE, and graduate of our An End to Violence prison programme, has had his laptop stolen. Robert was housed by his local council in London into temporary accommodation, and while in his new home it was broken in to and many of his (very few) possessions stolen. In addition to losing a painful sum of money, crucially Robert lost his laptop, a treasured gift from Lady Judy Moody-Stuart.

Sadly Robert has had to learn a lesson many of us have to discover experientially - the importance of making back-up files. Robert lost his entire contact telephone and address lists. He will not make that mistake again.

Is anyone willing to donate a second hand but reasonably good laptop to Robert? Indeed if you have more than one, this would greatly help the work of other WAVE volunteers.
