Dr Caroline Clark Caroline has been an involved and valued WAVE trustee for many years. With a Degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Medieval History, Caroline completed her PhD in Medieval History whilst teaching history part-time at two eminent London universities. Deeply committed to the elimination of child abuse in both the UK and the rest of the world, Caroline finds her participation with WAVE to be a natural expression of this commitment. Another expression lies in her role as home-maker and mother to her daughter Eleanor. Since 2003, as well as being a trustee, Caroline has served WAVE in various roles as Fundraising Officer, Council member, proofreader, and editor. She was a highly valued Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2009 to 2014. Caroline made a hugely significant contribution in 2005 by not only conducting the final edit but also by paying the full cost of the production of WAVE's report 'Violence and what to do about it', without which it is unlikely the report would have been published.
