The 70/30 NetworkWe are a UK-wide network of individuals, organisations and elected representatives working together to reduce child abuse, neglect and other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) by at least 70% by the year 2030. We call this goal '70/30'. Our radical but achievable goal is necessary because 1 in 5 children will suffer ACEs during their lifetime. The 70/30 goal was created after we received support from our partners and expert advisers who agreed that 70/30 is achievable if the right policies and actions are taken by decision makers and those holding the purse strings. We have developed specific action plans to achieve 70/30. No one sets out to harm their child. What I didn’t expect was to find an organisation with such great people and passion. I am very excited to be part of a new movement challenging the status quo and pushing for change.'
