Prof. Kevin Browne is Director of the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Nottingham University. A recognised expert on domestic violence, he has been researching family violence for 20 years and has published extensively on the subject. Together with Professor Martin Herbert, he is the co-author of the book Preventing Family Violence.

He has been Chair of the Research Committee of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (IPSCAN) and Co-Editor of Early Prediction and Prevention of Child Abuse, a book series on Child Care and Protection, and Child Abuse Review, the Journal of the British Association for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (BAPSCAN).
