About us What we do for children Supporting Victims of Child Sexual Abuse Our Commitment to Protecting Children Child sexual abuse is a deeply traumatic experience for victims and its impact can last a lifetime. As a charity, we are unwavering in our commitment to addressing this critical issue, providing healing and hope to victims, and raising awareness to prevent future harm. Led by Expertise and Compassion Our CEO, George Hosking, brings decades of experience to our mission. As a seasoned trauma expert, he has dedicated his career to helping victims of child abuse, including child sexual abuse, to heal, overcome their pain, and rebuild their lives. Since the year 2000, he has carried out direct therapeutic work with both victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse, with a remarkable record of success in stopping re-offending. His leadership inspires our work. My eyes were opened to the intergenerational aspect too. I became an ambassador for The WAVE Trust because I truly believe that by tackling Adverse Childhood Experiences that we will truly reduce the numbers of fellow victims of CSA. George has helped me on a personal level too by being a wonderful human being who has helped me become a better man. I can't speak highly enough of George or The WAVE Trust when it comes to helping victims like myself or tackling the subjects society often turns a blind eye too. George has always been there for myself, my family or other victims of CSA who give their time to The WAVE Trust. I have met many fellow survivors through the help of George and The WAVE Trust. Truly a charity for survivors and a charity for change'. J.H.
