Matt Hancock becomes the 550th MP to support the 70/30 campaign Friday, September 9, 2022 Matt Hancock MP has become the 550th MP to give his support to the 70/30 Campaign. WAVE are delighted to welcome Mr Hancock's endorsement following a meeting with Alex Williamson, WAVE Trust’s 70/30 Campaign Officer. Mr Hancock said: "I have long supported the work of the brilliant WAVE Trust and recognise how important their goals are. As Health Secretary, I supported the Early Years Agenda and I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together, but our work is not done. "I will continue to support the WAVE Trust and their 70/30 campaign because every child deserves the best possible start in life." "It is my hope that, over the next year, we can reach a position whereby all 650 Members of Parliament fully behind our aims and objectives." Join the mission Whilst the support of so many politicians may look like our work is done, we are always looking for more people who are able to take the lead within their local community and ensure everything possible is being done to make sure that children are being protected from abuse and neglect.
